Thanks, fixed now. Error in our upgrade process that we missed. Thanks again.
This website is for http://ps2maps.com.  This is not a website officially associated with SOE or PlanetSide 2.

Unfortunately you are correct.  There is no way for the API to know where "you" are in the game.

Okay that sounds right.  I should have no trouble calculating that then.  I need to watch the in-game percentages to make sure that territory ownership % does not include the 3 warpgate territories for each continent (the main warpgate territory and the two little territories) that are always controlled by each respective faction.

I've been meaning to add these for a while but haven't had the time.  It's slightly more complicated than simply adding new icons to the map, because I think it would be helpful if there were lines on the map indicating where the jump pads shoot you to.  I will add these in the near future.

Unfortunately SOE's API does not yet give us this information.  But if they do in the near future we will definitely add it in.

It's a combination of pulling live stats into the db and calculating everything from there.  I have considered calculating this in the past but I wasn't sure how accurate it would be.  Is it 80/20% now?  It used to be 75/25% not long ago.  Did SOE change this?

Also, sometimes on the map, a continent will have no ownership.  Does this mean that the previous owner's territory control dropped below 20 (25?) % but that the other two factions were still not over 80 (75?)%?

A few months ago, before they added in the 80/20 (75/25) thing into the game, a faction had to control 100% of the map in order to own the map, but sometimes, certain continents were still shown as having no owner.  So I'm not sure how a faction could loose ownership back then when another faction did not conquer the map 100%.  It was questions like this as to why I never pursued trying to calculate this.  But maybe it's something I should reconsider...

Unfortunately this isn't possible with the API (yet?).
